Biscardo for Arts, wine to discover the places of art and culture of Verona
Wine as art, territory as inspiration: this is Biscardo for Arts.
At Biscardo Vini, the bond between wine and art is part of our identity.
Our claim “Wine, Art and Culture” reflects a vision of wine as a form of expression, one that tells stories, evokes places, and connects with emotions, just like the visual and performing arts.
Biscardo for Arts brings wine into conversation with four different art forms, set in some of Verona’s lesser-known cultural landmarks.
These venues are not mere backdrops, but active partners in the creative narrative.
The project unfolds on our social media channels through exclusive visual storytelling and a four-part video series. The first episode goes live on March 30, followed by three more until November.
The artists and locations: four art forms, four symbolic spaces
The Biblioteca Capitolare, home to over 1.200 ancient manuscripts, hosts calligrapher Sara Caliari in a performance inspired by the Biscardo signature.
Provianda Santa Marta, a former military site now part of the University of Verona and home to its contemporary art collection, hosts the sculptures of Marina Bertagnin (MABE), who explores beauty as a sensory experience.
The Ex Dogana di Fiume becomes a stage for Maestro Leonardo Benini and the Filarmonica Futura Orchestra, blending harmony with tradition.
The Miniscalchi Erizzo Museum, a noble residence in the heart of Verona, hosts choreographer Camilla Monga as she expresses the elegance of wine through movement.
